Department of Engineering conducted a workshop on Development of Practical Skills in the use of DBMS software on 22nd November 2022.

This session was attended by 5 students. DBMS is utilized as the backend in a student project. Therefore, it is necessary to explain the important concepts of RDBMS. All data-using industries, including banking, automation, business, etc., are supported by RDBMS.

Therefore, the students in this session received hands-on Oracle training. Dr. Amjad Ali began the section with an introduction in which he covered the practical uses of DBMS and DDL commands. Mr. Mujeebudheen Khan completed the section by describing the Oracle software and the DML instructions. Mr. Haji ALi and Mr. Glenn assisted the students in completing the queries and debugging.

The students were given practical exercises which helped them to solve complex queries. The queries where practically answered. The students were provided with hand outs and the session ended with a feedback.
