To celebrate Oman National Day, the English Society of English Language Center conducted a speech contest for students on November 30, 2021.

Hamza Salim Al-Harthi from Level 1 Group 5 won 1st place, Mohammed Hamed Al-Shabibi from Level 3 Group 6 won 2nd place and Abdurahman Hisham Al-Senani from Level 4 Group 10 won third place.

The competition was participated in by 9 students from different levels. It was held at the ELC Main Hall. Prior to the competition, participants attended a public speaking workshop with members of Ibra Toastmasters Club as speakers. They were trained how to write and deliver speeches. Winners received cash, certificates and trophies.
