Webinar - New Features of ADTRAC

The work of an academic advisor has faced more challenges as affected by this Covid-19 pandemic. The Advisor-Advisee interaction is ideally a face-to-face scenario but with the present virus threat, it is essential to do this work in the online mode interface.

The Engineering Department Staff Development Committee organized a webinar - “New Feature of ADTRAC” on November 17, 2020 at 12:00 NN via MS Team. Ms. Latha Sahadevan, the software developer from Educational Technology Center presented the new features of the ADTRAC system particularly the online option to meet the advisees and record the meeting. Another feature of the system is checking the acceptance status of the students’ online submission of college forms like the Student’s Plagiarism Form. The department registrars also discussed the challenges faced by the advisors and gave their suggestions and clarifications.

The webinar was beneficial to the academic advisors giving them additional tool for their advising task. Mr. Syed Mohammed Saad, HOS Mechanical Section delivered the closing remarks with his word of thanks to the resource speaker and the organizers. A Certificate of Appreciation was awarded to Ms. Latha.
