The Staff Development Committee of the Engineering Department organized a webinar entitled “Introduction to Raspberry Pi” on the 30th of March, 2021, from 12:00-1:30 PM via MS teams. It aimed to give awareness to our staff about Raspberry Pi and its applications.

The resource person was Mr. Jeyadevan Sugadevan, a lecturer of Electrical Section, Engineering Department, UTAS-Ibra.

Mr. Jeyadevan explained the step-by-step installation processes and the advantages of using Raspberry Pi on projects and researches. He also discussed the ways of connecting Raspberry Pi to other devices. This webinar will surely help our Engineering Staff in improving the coverage of projects and research works for our students.

Before concluding, Mr. Prathapa Raju Moola, Co-chairman of the Staff Development Committee and host of the event, delivered a message of appreciation to the speaker and the closing remarks.
