The staff development committee of the IT Department conducted a workshop on the title Thinking Skills and Problem Solving on 25 th June 2020 via MS Teams at 10 am.

The Resource person was Ms. Sija Krishnan. She briefed all the staff members about:

1. Different kinds of thinking skills.
2. Why critical thinking important?
3. History of critical thinking.
4. Features of critical thinking.
5. Who are critical thinkers and their common characteristics.
6. The process of critical thinking.
7. What is problem solving?
8. Problem-solving Action check list.
9. Problem solving techniques.
10. Best critical thinking tools aligned with Bloom’s Taxonomy.

As a whole the workshop was more interactive, informative and effective.
