The Staff Development Committee of the Department of Business Studies organized a webinar entitled “Strategies for an Entrepreneurial Career” on September 17, 2020 at 10 AM through MS Teams.

Mr. P Chandrasekr, Group General Manager of Jawad Sultan Group of Companies, delivered a powerful talk which is centered on the role of entrepreneurs in economic development. His discussion is focused on the strategies to build a career as entrepreneurs, generation of innovative business ideas and opportunities, structure of a business plan, and most importantly the role of teachers in instilling entrepreneurial traits among students. The main takeaway is that “The entrepreneur is the key to the creation of new enterprises that energize the economy and rejuvenate the established enterprises that make up the economic structure. Entrepreneurs serve as the catalysts in the process of industrialization and economic growth”.

Participants were given the opportunity to ask questions during the question and answer forum. The webinar gained an overwhelming response from the staff of the business department and other participants.
