A training program on public safety and evacuation was conducted from 08.01.2018 to 10.01.2018 in ICT to effectively train the health and safety group and health and safety committee members.

The health and safety group comprises of both staff and students from various departments and centers. The training was given by various experts from Civil Defense.

Civil defense personal covered the wide areas of occupational health and safety like emergency evacuation, firefighting, first aid and healthcare. The health and safety group and committee members were actively participated in the training program and acquire the necessary health and safety skills to handle the emergency situations.

The program was organized and coordinated by the ICT health and safety chairman Dr. Sami Al Ghnimi.
