Ms. Faiza Al-Harthi and Ms. Mallika Banu. B of the Information Technology department presented a paper on the “Correlates of Student Satisfaction in Academic Advising” at the national level symposium conducted by the Rustaq College of Education on the 21st November 2017.

This symposium aimed to pave the way for better advising practices with a view to help learners thereby improving their academic performance. The theme of the symposium was ‘Academic Advising Practice: Is it worth it?’ Research papers, posters and presentations addressing aspects / dimensions of this theme were presented in the symposium by various colleges.
