Research and Consultancy Committee of IT Department motivated and arranged IT Students to participate in the National Symposium on Emerging Trends in Engineering & Management (NSETEM 2017) organized by Waljat college of Applied Sciences, Muscat on 13th and 14th November 2017.

13 Students from IT Department and 2 IT faculty attended the symposium. All the student participants presented posters on 6 different titles. The poster titled “Water Management using IoT device” presented by Ms. Alia Saleh Al-Alawi, Ms. Eman Soud Al-Rahbi and Ms. Kareema Sulaiman Al-Rahbi [Advanced Diploma – Networking] won the "SECOND BEST PAPER AWARD".
