Electrical and Electronics Section

The Electrical and Electronics Section is one of the two sections of the Engineering Department. It has a goal of providing graduates with an integrated educational experience that will develop their ability to apply pertinent knowledge in solving engineering problems. This experience will prepare the students for immediate employment and will provide them the sufficient foundation to continue upper-division studies.

The section is offering Diploma, Advanced Diploma and B. Tech programs in Electrical Power, Electronics & Communications and Diploma, Advanced Diploma Computer Engineering specializations. It is anticipated that these programs should enable the students to:

  • Contribute to society in a broad range of careers
  • Flourish professionally in an increasingly international and rapidly changing world
  • Effectively build, test, operate and develop modern telecommunications, computer and modern power engineering technologies and concepts.
  • Develop skills for clear communication and responsible teamwork and inculcate professional attitudes and ethics, so that one is prepared for the complex modern work environment
  • Acquire sufficient breadth and depth for successful subsequent graduate study, post-graduate study and life-long learning.
  • Develop and apply critical thinking skills, enhancing the ability to address unstructured problems specific to technical specialties in telecommunications, computer and electrical power engineering.
  • Acquire technical and managerial skills necessary to enter careers in the design, application, and/or maintenance of telecommunications, computer and electrical power systems

This section is fully invested to make sure that our students get the best quality of education by providing them with highly qualified and experienced lecturers and instructors, facilities with an up-to-date technologies and a safe teaching environment.
