The IT-TAC (Information Technology-Technical Assistance Center) was introduced to help students/graduates gain relevant experiential knowledge, skills and exposure to real world job market situations that could help bridge the gap between the academic experience and that of the workplace.

It will help the trainees gain continuous relevant education with focus on executing real-time problems through industry simulation.

An Innovative Approach to Student Development

The IT-TAC program is a new program that promotes student entrepreneurship and the launch of student-led business ventures with a focus on system design analysis and technical assistance: operating system troubleshooting and virus/spyware removal.

This innovative program brings together an array of department resources to facilitate student-entrepreneurs in building a multidisciplinary collaborative team, developing a working process of their system innovation, defining a viable business model, securing intellectual property rights, preparing for next-stage investment-seeking, and launching a company.
