(HCT) in Muscat is the second largest higher education institution in Oman catering for nearly 10, 000 students studying in various programs. It is one of seven colleges under the Ministry of Manpower in the Sultanate. The Ministry of Manpower (MoMp) has six regional Colleges of Technology, located in Musanna, Nizwa, Ibra, Salalah, Shinas, and Ibri and one Higher College of Technology in Muscat.
(NCT) is one of seven colleges of technology (CoTs) in the Sultanate of Oman operating under the auspices of the Ministry of Manpower (MoM). The other six colleges are located in Ibra, Ibri, Musanna, Muscat, Salalah, and Shinas. Currently, bachelor degrees are only offered in Muscat, which is incidentally the only higher college of technology among the seven colleges. The remaining six colleges offer programmes up to the higher diploma level. Nizwa College of Technology is located on the eastern side of the town of Nizwa, twelve kilometers from its city centre and about 160 kilometers northwest of Muscat.
(IbriCT) is one of the Regional Colleges of Technology under the Ministry of Manpower in Oman, alongside with Musanna, Nizwa, Ibra, Salalah, and Shinas in addition to the Higher College of Technology in Muscat. Ibri College of Technology is the youngest among the other five Regional Colleges of Technology in Oman with its current population of 1,441 students studying in various programs. The college accepted its first intake in September of 2007 with 347 students all in the foundation program.
(ACT) is one of the seven technological colleges affiliated to the Ministry of Manpower. At present, there are three academic departments in the college namely: Business Studies, Engineering, and Information Technology. Two centers in the college prepare for and support students' career formation. These are the English Language Centre and Educational Technology Centre.
(ShCT) was founded in September 2005 as one of the seven Colleges of Technology in Oman under the Ministry of Manpower (MoMP). The campus is located at Al–Aqur, on the northern outskirts of Wilayat of Shinas in the Governorate of Batinah, about 69 kms from the city of Sohar, and about six kilometers from the city center of the road to dubai that links the Sultanate and the United Arab Emirates. Shinas College of Technology (ShCT) is one of the seven Colleges of Technology (CTs) under the operation and directives of the Ministry of Manpower (MoMP).The College is a public institution catering to higher educational needs of all Omani youth. It offers programs leading to diploma and advanced diploma in the fields of Engineering, Information Technology and Business Studies.
(SCT) is one of the premier providers of technological education in the Sultanate of Oman. It is located in Salalah, the Garden City of Oman. Salalah is also known as the "Perfume capital of Arabia". The city is located in the southern part of Oman about 1000 kilometers from Muscat, the capital. The residents are very friendly, generous and hospitable.
