QAD Staff visit ICT for Internal Audit

Staff from Quality Assurance Department (QAD) of the Ministry of Manpower visited ICT on 11th and 12th November for the regular annual audit of colleges of technology. The QAD group is headed by its Director, Ms. Ghada Sarhan. The group will conduct audit of various college units as per the schedule including the academic departments of Engineering, IT and Business Studies, the support units of English Language Centre and Educational Technology Centre, as well as the Administration & Finance and the Student Affairs units. The QAD group will conduct audit on the eight QA domains, as specified in the OAAA manual.
On 11th, the group had an opening session with Dean, Assistant deans and followed by the audit of Business, Information technology departments, Assistant dean for Academic affairs, Administration & Finance and Quality assurance head.
On 12th the group conducted annual audit of English Language, Educational Technology centre, Engineering department and Assistant dean for Students Affairs after which an initial feedback of the exercise was discussed with the college management. An official report of this audit was received by ICT on 12th of December 2012.
