One Day Seminar Highlights Airport Safety Operations

Airport Safety Operations was the highlight of a one-day seminar attended by five selected ICT-IEEE student members together with Mr. Arnold N. Santos, HoS-Electrical & Electronics, on 14th January 2013 at the Caledonian College of Engineering in Muscat.
The seminar was organized by CCE in partnership with the Ecole Nationale de I’Aviation Civile (ENAC)-Toulouse, France and supported by the French Embassy in Oman and EUROCOPTER, Oman.
The one-day seminar included three technical sessions that were presented by well-known and key personalities in the field of aviation in the Sultanate. The sessions presented and underscored topics ranging from the common health and safety issues to the more complicated airport emergency planning, operations and management.
This well-attended and publicized seminar was graced by HE Salim Bin Nasser Bin Said Al-Aufi, CEO of the Public Authority of Civil Aviation and HE Yves Oudin, French Ambassador to Oman.
